Dr. Taylor Black, a neurologist and neurosurgeon serving on the ISS Amazonas, the Imperial Fleet Flagship, devised a procedure to restore mental contents in the damaged brain. Black and Captain Edward Wakeman, after an unexpected development in their relationship, faced seemingly insurmountable challenges that drastically changed their lives. Now everything seems to have settled down, but someone is intent on getting in their way (especially the captain) as a mystery from the past painfully resurfaces.
